Red Beets are a unique horse supplement and still not commonly known. They have been used in Germany and europe since 2003 and unlike the more commonly known beet pulp, which comes from sugar beets and is the by-product of commercial sugar processing, Red Beets are made from red beets that are grown for human consumption.
They are one of the best sources of healthy nutrients and antioxidants to improve health and are an exciting new food you can add to your horses diet.
Particularly known as an antioxidant as well as being anti-inflammatory Red Beets are great for relieving itching and skin complaints in horses. Possibly due to the natural detoxifying properties which are believed to be present, it is worth considering adding some beets to your horses feed.
